Lack of commute is the only reason I took an in office job again too. I’ve spent like 7 out of 8 years of my career working from home and I really didn’t think I’d ever be convinced to go back but my new job’s office is under 10 minutes away by bike and I get at least one day a week to work from home. It’s officially 4 days a week in office but my manager is really relaxed about that requirement if my work is getting done

The term and all the other -american prefixes has always weirded me out. It feels othering with a veil of progressiveness. I often find US progressives almost loop back around to enacting segregation again
What are you using the old x86 timing functionality for, or rather what would it be needed for?
edit: I’m not trying to be a dick or be interrogative, I’m genuinely asking.
