It’s great to at least give Gentoo a try, I imagine you learned a lot from it. I’d recommend trying to give it another shot some years down the road when you become a more more familiar with Linux and how to fix things on your own. You’ll find it’s probably way easier than you remembered.

My front yard takes over an hour with a push mower and the terrain is too complex for a ride mower. I’d be curious if I’d be the exception, unless the robot mowers are terrible at landscape changes like a robot vacuum would be. Including some boulders… But maybe still cheaper to hire some kid if I get that far on the lazy scale.

It’s kind of both for me honestly. Call me old fashion… Or just old… but I really enjoy seeing a shelf full of game cases and looking through them to physically pick out what I wanna play. And it’s really just nice-looking to me, just like a bookshelf that’s actually full of books looks good.
