The EU doesn’t actually care about user freedom, they just want as much surveillance as possible.
Gaming is massively expensive if you obsessively chase the latest AAA experiences. If you stick to older games and lower end or older hardware then it’s one of the best value hobbies around.
Adding sticks is simply a downgrade for me. The best thing about the Brick is its pocketability.
Buy a used ROG Ally for the fraction of the cost of a new Steam Deck. A much bigger library than the Switch 2 and more performance than the Steam Deck.

I haven’t owned a laptop since smartphones and tablets took off. It’s become a redundant form factor. Framework would be my go to choice if I ever did need one though.

Brexit caused many failures but if it gets me away from shit like this then it’ll have been worth it.
I don’t watch a lot of films or TV so I used to buy blu-rays and rip them myself but I really don’t want to store a load of useless discs in my house. If companies offered DRM-free digital purchases of the remuxed blu-ray files then I’d pay but since that’s nowhere near being the case, I guess it’s piracy for me.
Not the same thing in the slightest. You can’t sell games to strangers using Family Sharing.
SD Cards are a damn lot more expensive than discs though.
Most people play once and sell the game on. That’s a lot of lost sales for Sony’s first party story driven games. They know exactly what they’re doing. If people don’t boycott Sony then it’ll only get worse.
7zip is better anyway I don’t understand why people still use WinRar. Then again I don’t understand why people still use Windows either.
