I tried Bazzite for a while, personally I found only negatives. None of the features Bazzite provides were of any interest to me. I found it also downloaded a lot more updates, every time I picked the Deck up to play I had to wait for ages. Also, it did the shader caching thing EVERY TIME I started a game, instead of only sometimes. Went back to stock and I’m much more happy.

Yes. I have no education at all in IT. I have a masters in classical double bass and a career as a musician, working in an opera house now. Computers have always been a hobby and was my second choice for “life path”. Could have easily been the other way around, professional nerd and amateur musician. I am very happy as is, though.
Hibernation! Finally! Will I soon finally be able to leave my deck for weeks without shutting it down? I dont have time to game every day so the power draw during suspend is a real problem for me. I out it down after gaming, then it dies and sits for weeks with a drained battery…
