I have a steam deck and play on pc too, and steam sync it’s really convenient. And i like how after i finish a game, I can delete it to save space, then come back 2 years later and my save files will still be in the cloud, without me thinking about it too hard
Yes, I know there’s syncthing, and I use it to sync save files of 1 game, but urghh it’s complex to set up
And they’ve been pumping out weekly linux videos, I think, so that helps draw attention too

Oh damn, this is already pretty complete. Tested on android (smartphone) for now. Will test on android TV, as that’s my main content consumption device.
Nice to see syncplay already implemented, and (!) youtube too somehow?!
For now, I think the most prominent improvement i could think of is the implementation of libass for the subtitles; as right now they seem rendered plainly, meanwhile anime episodes often leverage complex .ass suptitles that support styles, ecc
I recommend grayjay on your phone+fcast receiver on your tv.
