Back in the 1980s I went to a “theme park” of the city of Bedrock. I was like 6, so I don’t remember what state we were in. I think western half of the US, and not so far as California, but they had the dinosaurs and fred and barnies houses and the cars and the rock quarry and everything. Fun time. A yabba do time, even.

Just to argue counterpoint: nothing stops your schools or work from changing hours now, whenever the clocks change. Work and school 8 to 4 until dst. Then you work\school 9 to 5.

Also, right now I’m the central time zone “high noon” is about 1pm, so the noon logic is also bullshit. You’d have to add more time zones and make more changes to keep high noon always close to noon for everyone.

I’ve seen it both ways. Original products usually don’t last very long without being copied and slightly different.

I’ve never seen 3x, but I’ve gotten the 4x before. It wasn’t much hotter than the 2x, really.

Actually; even using your own Cambridge dictionary definition and examples you linked, it fully shows that I’m correct. Like, just look at the example you provided that talks about a cheap knock off of lord of the rings, for example.
If you aren’t able to understand that, then I guess you’re just a bit too dumb to comprehend.

Yeah. They buy cheaper stuff, and charge more for it. I can’t stand the taste of their trash burrito shells they went to. Then, they charge twice as much for just a bean burrito and give you half the filling, even though it’s just super cheap refried beans.

The products all do look the same. They’re just missing a specific logo or specific pattern. If you invented the ice cream cone, and then I made an ice cream cone that looked the same, only it had little triangle patterns instead of square patterns, it’s still a knock off.
It’s like how Oreos were blatant knock offs of Hydrox cookies. But the emblem in the middle of the cookie was different. Still a knock off.

It’s not your fault. The taco bell one really tucked me off, though. The first summer it was out was a limited time thing. It was actually a bit spicy. A lot more spicy than anything else a fast food chain had.
But then when they brought it back permanently it wasn’t half as spicy as it was. Taco Bell has like 5 fucking bland ass sauces now, and three of them taste about the same. What’s the damned point? FU taco bell. You could have left me with at least one option besides all your ketchup with tobacco sauce mixed in. No wonder I’ve only been there like 4 times in the last year.

I totally have some! But man, it’s kind of pricey for what it is. Not saying I don’t spend more on most of the hot sauces I buy, but still.

They’re usually knock offs. They aren’t trying to present themselves as an item made by Versace or whatever, but they knock off someone else’s idea or product.
That’s still a knock off by most any definition.

I feel this way about spicy things. Everything “hot” is just hot to the average schmuck from the Midwest. Anything spicier than that gets dumbed down to become that (like taco bell Diablo sauce) or becomes hard to find.
I really enjoyed when that Buldak 2x spicy chicken raman “challenge” became a thing, because that’s some great tasting raman and more in line with the normal amount of spicy I like to eat. Now I’m back to having to just order it online again.
Sounds about right on the nose for Trump and fifa
What a bunch of bitches. Wow.
I’m a bit out of the loop. What shit did FIFA and Trump do? Got the US team to play?

Not at the range of things under 70 decibels.
Decibel scale is logarithmic, so down at around the 60 level, the difference between 30 and 60 is basically the difference between a normal conversation and someone whispering.

That’s right! I only vote so I can bitch about it. In my county not voting red is like throwing a hotdog down a hallway to fill it up.
