The prisoners dilema is a worst case scenario as you can have an infinite number of prisoners but just one can create the worst possible scenario for everyone else, the commons generally has the ability to sustain a couple of selfish people without breaking down. Everyone has their own threshold for how much abuse of shared resources they can tolerate before they too will begin to abuse those resources out of self preservation, society stops working properly when that process hits a tipping point that makes it self sustaining so it encompassas everyone.

Disproven multiple times, though actually something of a real life memetic hazard as people who are taught the tragedy of the commons tend to then act as if it was real thus causing it to be real. Its basically a way for rich sociopaths to justify their own behaviour by convincing other people to act the same way.
This is why I keep a good chunk of my steam library downloaded locally and don’t buy always-online required games.

You could piss off the company running them though, don’t these cameras use AI? Get some QR codes that lead to nepenthies traps full of their own AI generated images of nonsense license plates. Waste their money and poison their training data.

iirc the power is not very doable, You’d need hundreds of times as many solar pannels as are on the ISS to power a single modest data centre.

The UK is a tight political union consisting of England and 3 countries who’s populations have never recovered from what England did to them, and consistently vote contrary to it.
Even in the anime the random skills are just horribly balanced, doesn’t he end up being forced to join that guild after a duel where he’s objectively the better fighter but the guild leader just has a random ‘actually I can stop time’ skill?
