This is a ruling about content according to the quoted passage. That’s censorship of ideas by definition

Any ideas that the EU doesn’t want discussed. Support for Russia or criticism of Ukraine, for example.
NOTE that I do not support Russia or think Ukraine is wrong in the current environment. And I understand that any government wants to prevent opposing propaganda from spreading within its borders.

Is there a credible source for this? Netanyahu mouthpieces don’t impress me

Also not a legal expert, but
any natural or legal person directly or indirectly responsible for making available or transmitting that content to the public
would seem to catch personal social media posts as well. Otherwise, there’s still an exploitable loophole.
Aren’t EU sanctions economic? In that case, limiting RT seems reasonable. This ruling, though, seems aimed at enforcing a ban on discussing certain ideas. It’s censorship. Perhaps it’s justified, although censorship has never really worked; it’s only driven speakers underground and into dark corners where authorities can’t monitor them so easily.

Wonder if the Heritage Foundation could be persuaded to have Trump try to pry Germany out of the EU? It sounds like the bloc might be healthier without them

People often vote against a party/candidate rather than for the opposition. Until we figure out how to get decent people interested in politics, this may simply be our reality.

I hear you about going back to analog. The problem in the States is that Republicans have managed to gut the postal service and drive up its prices so that normal people can’t afford it. Electronic communication is all they can afford.
PGP encrypts and decrypts locally. Your private keys never leave your device. Public keys are meant to be shared widely, but without the private key, anyone who intercepts the message has exactly a block of encrypted text and no way to read it.

Won’t everyone just go back to using PGP on-device?
Perhaps you should look up the definition of “censorship”. You literally just described it
