The complaints about Kagi are valid, mostly, (there’s always that one guy that runs around complaining that Kagi uses Yandex). But damn I’ve gotten spoiled by the results and the ranking customization…
I am one of the people previously complaining about it. I decided to rethink it and changed my mind. It is not a big enough deal to avoid the service. I tried it for a couple of months, and was satisfied with the results.
I really liked filtering results and boosting them.
In the end I deciding it was not good enough to justify the price, so I ended up with Qwant as my daily driver going forward.
