I usually tell people that I have a rare medical condition where everything I say sounds sarcastic, but I’m serious. It doesn’t work all the time. I had my co-workers, after 5 years of knowing me, think I was lying about something because I smiled towards the end. I had to explain to them my condition. Then I had to explain that it’s not a real condition, but just a way to easily explain my goofiness.

The more I would try to convince people the more they thought I was lying. I just don’t try anymore.
