So, I was looking at a lot of the challenges on the wiki under “Megaprojects” and I was feeling a little inspired to create my own and I figured I’d ask the small community we have what they think.

The Hierophant: Pretext: You are allowed to use the “Makeown” command in DFHACK on travelers, pilgrims, prophets and any other resident for the singular purpose of acquiring more pantheons to build temples to. In some cases, this may be your only way without spending decades waiting for a residency application.

You are tasked with building the largest temple-complex your Kin has ever beheld. For each religion in a VERY HIGH CIV and VERY HIGH SITES world you must build a dedicated temple equivalent with “temple-complex” value for each and every religion in this generated world in a Terrifying! biome. You must also keep an open, public tavern while providing a DECENT standard of living for your dwarves.

Reference: The current fortress I am running, Magmacrypt AKA “Tholstesokïdmomuz” has a mere population of 10. We have lost well over 40, but we have also successfully built a magma pump-stack with reservoirs and currently are working on a water stack for a mist-generator in the tavern. The fort is surrounded by 15 Giant Kea Corpses, some of which are inflicted by an “evil dust” that turns them into a sickly purple and doubles their strength and endurance.

These hellion-fowl have also made a good snack out of many young, prospective musicians, poets, skalds and scholars from all over the Misty Planes and lands beyond seeking a fort of legend. A fort that juts out of a twisted, warped mountain-side so far out of the sight of any Gods and farther still from any prayer. A fort with immense reserves of gold, endless booze, and a tavern that has 10 desperate souls willing to hear of a world so long-gone to their minds. We also have an elf that my dwarves get a mood-boost out of bullying. The elf likes it for some reason and she also gains a mood-boost.

Feel free to suggest some changes or bonuses.
