I had downloaded this 2 months ago to benchmark my new thinkpad with and never got around to playing it. Fired it up today and got to the infamous pyramid head scene in the apartments.

Wow this (mod? collection of mods? remaster?) fully realizes SH2 as it was on the PS2, without the clunkiness of downloading roms and emulators. I haven’t played 2 in years, since I had a ps2, but it looks and sounds just as I remember. Plus playing with a keyboard compliments the tank controls (there’s hotkeys for items too, nice).

Plus! It’s abandonware I believe so go right ahead without fear of the powers that be.

So try it out with spooky season approaching soon. It should run on anything, I have an integrated intel chip graphics on this thinkpad and it’s playing in hd smoothly.
