I think the bottom panel is supposed to be a padded cell like they use in psychiatric hospitals. So that’s how silly they got.
IMO it’s way too large, it looks more like a bare holodeck. Maybe they got so silly they made the holodeck crash?
It’s a hollywood trope to make these padded rooms humongous, so that’s probably the reason.
