This is the corporatocracy in action. An unpopular GOP congress who refuses to check their own party’s Unitary Executive, and a Democratic Party leader who refuses to back a measure popular with citizens. Who wins? Health Insurance companies. Who loses? The poor who can’t afford health insurance, and those who have health insurance and can’t afford their deductibles, so they go without recommended healthcare.
