Maybe by size, but its natural gas, how is that not better than any of the coal plants in the US. The coal plants seem to top out around 3.5gwh
Edit: and if could be wrong, but im pretty sure people would rather live near a 7.5gwh natural gas plant, than a 3.5gwh coal one? Not that they’d want to live near either though.
I think you’re confusing your units for power vs energy. 3.5GWh (Gigawatt-hours) says nothing about the size of a power plant without also providing a time period that energy was generated in. You likely mean 3.5GW (Gigawatts), which is a measure of instantaneous power (in this case peak power). A 3.5GW plant generates 3.5GWh in 1 hour.
