    “A transgender man could be placed on a female-only hospital ward based on his sex assigned at birth,” reported CNN’s Ben Hunte. “But here’s where it gets tricky: That same man could be barred from accessing a women’s locker room on the basis that his presentation as a man could make others uncomfortable.”

    This ruling is, without any disrespect to the differently abled, completely fucking retarded.

      Is it really “completely fucking retarded”? The person still has double x chromosomes and possibly an uterus. So medically a woman despite probable hormone therapy which plays a factor in healthcare. A public setting is different from a medical one, therefore a person shall be treated as they appear through a layman’s eye.

        Yes it is. People should be treated according to their medical needs, and nothing else. Why should a man with a broken foot be forced into a women-only ward? This will make everyone involved extremely uncomfortable. It’s a women-only ward for a reason.
