Yeah they’re also making it illegal to access social media if you’re under 15 so they’re gonna have to enter their ID soon to access most websites. Sooo it doesn’t even start to make it even.
I think kids will be just fine without social media until they’re 15. Especially if it’s a blanket ban of every kid before then. Theres other ways to interact as a kid with your peers.
Its not a problem about the kids. Its about adults having to provide an PII (ID) for social media access.

There are so many other ways of working on a sefer internet for kids, such as regulation on the social medias companies themselves, forcing them to make the algo open source, preventing them from promoting toxic content etc…
