While my general Province hasn’t been great for various disasters, my city and neighborhood are on the safer end. The house itself doesn’t have any of the nasty stuff like asbestos, aluminum wiring, failure-prone plumbing, etc. The furnace was replaced when I moved in, AC and after tank are new within 5 years, and the roof was just done.
It’s just a fuck you tax at this point
I suggest finding a new insurance agent. Sounds like yours didn’t feel like looking around for you.
