Gun violence, admittedly a problem, but stating we’re “number 1” is just a further demonstration of your ignorance: The U.S. firearm-death rate was 13.2 per 100,000 in 2023, below Venezuela, El Salvador, Haiti, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil and several other countries.
Number one in corruption? Transparency International puts the US as 26th out of 182 countries. In case you didn’t know, which is extremely likely, the lower number the less corruption.
