The country is collectively responsible for who it elects.

This is basic democracy. The problem is none of them can accept responsibility. That just comes in different forms, whether it’s non voting when you can, voting for arseholes or blaming others when it goes wrong.

So they lash out at the rest of us who understand that and vote accordingly at home. If that’s not enough they fund their political PACs to insert into our politics at home. Which is our fault too I guess. Like I had someone try and tell me earlier it’s our fault because we won’t sanction the US.

      Wrong.

      This is basic democracy

The US operates under a representative democracy, specifically a system with an electoral college. This results in multiple levels of abstraction from your normal voter.

The problem is none of them can accept responsibility.

You’re just butthurt people who didn’t vote for this aren’t accepting your blame.

Cry harder about your grievences with Americans, you’re a pretty big fucking idiot

        Wrong

Nope, every democratic country is responsible for the leaders they elect. The US wants to be a special case here and expects others to accept it as one, but it’s responsible for who it elects

        The US operates

Yes, I know. It approved Biden and Clinton, but go on, roll out the excuses for that one too

        you’re just butthurt

Fucking hardly. I’m well aware Americans won’t accept responsibility they can palm off elsewhere.

        cry harder

I think the crying being done by Americans, not anyone outside.

We knew this would happen though, after they elected him again. Excuses everywhere, absolving each individual. Excuses everywhere, anger when the mirrors held up, rage when they’re told to stay home.
