I can see why it’s creepy: I mean, it’s a worn forest path leading down a dark trail, marked by a sign that a very real somebody just like ourselves seemingly just disappeared somewhere in there and never came back.

You know, like that grim reaper sign by the entrance to underwater caves that’s basically like “NOTHING BUT A TERRIBLE DEATH AWAITS YOU HERE.” Yikes!

I’d probably head back to the car and find somewhere else a bit more trod to hike. Yeah, I’m a city slicker…lol
