    Rule 1 of linux people. They hate change. Unless its the change they like. Then they love change and hate the old thing. Unless they change their mind then they hate the thing that they changed their mind on.

    Rule 2 of linux people. The way things are right this second when they learn about it is the way it will be for the next 20 years. It doesnt matter what changes or how it changes. Unless they see it and experience it first hand it still works the same way as 20 years ago. But see rule 1 for why they will never go back and check on the progress of new software.

    Everyone else can give you the reasons why these two rules are in effect for wayland. But these rules hold generally across an absolute crazy amount of the linux world. Honestly the software world in general…
