And people still put too much faith in the justice system. Everyone just needs to sue ICE they say, as though ICE doesn’t have the full support of the federal government to commit murder and false imprisonment. Suing or criminally charging someone usually requires a judge to rule against them. When all the judges are doing the king’s bidding, what are you going to do then? People keep talking like it’s an inevitability that MAGA and ICE will eventually face justice. Unfortunately, that is not an inevitability. MAGA might be in power for centuries. Stop taking for granted that the adults will return and punish the wrongdoers. Stop assuming the justice system will do its job. The law isn’t something that exists in nature, it requires somebody to enforce it.
