I used to be big on States’ Rights because I thought it made more sense for people to make rules more specific to them but then I realized the only reason politicians push that is to do whack shit like overturn abortion and now some are even arguing we should go back to when women couldn’t work. If I was the president and I cut back rules so States could decide I guarantee laws like that would be passed within a week.
The more I read about it the more im glad that the federal government is strong enough to stop States from extorting or attacking each other (like how New York would basically bully New Jersey). I just hate that every election seems to be between morally bankrupt nepo-babies and it’s been going on so long that the corruption would literally need a dictator to pull an El Salvador to fix

I literally never mentioned those specific states, I just cited an actual example that happened where the Supreme Court refused to rule on a dispute between States because they knew that the federal government couldn’t enforce anything

Considering how much information they had linking Epstein and Trump, and the tip told them where bodies are buried, you think they’d at least get some cadaver dogs out to sniff around the 19th hole.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the fbi probably needs a higher standard of evidence than “trust me bro” to get a warrant on a freshly out of office former president. Good thing this guy claims to have incriminating recordings of trump and oh wait he conveniently can’t produce them, definitely not suspicious. He never claims he was in the cartel but that he worked with them trafficking teen girls. How do we know he couldn’t produce corroborating evidence since the FBI didn’t follow up. It’s not the job of victims or tipsters to investigate. There’s a while Bureau within the Federal government that’s supposed to conduct Investigations. That bureau had plenty of evidence for years linking Trump, Maxwell and Epstein.
More, just trusting the government is a very odd choice.
