I’ll continue to refine it, but it is coming along nicely as a hack job. Since I use almost none of the default social network or broadcast platforms, I’m substituting them for ones I do use: my newsletter, wiki, forum, twtxt, this lemmy, etc.

• Substitute settings from user space, to survive updates
• Rewrite most .php text for my audience
• Add clearer “show me the links” section
• Custom icons, custom names, custom url’s
• Replace icons view with a list view that spells out what everything is.

Fun! Future refinement certainly needed, but I don’t want to expect the Castopod team to make these sorts of changes.
