Hello All,

Here is a pic of the final build of my open air PC build. I built the case about 5 years ago and have been running a 10900k.

I have stepped up to a 9950X3d and the Asus Crosshair ROG 2006 X870E motherboard.

I have 3 x 360mm radiators and a pair of D5 pumps in series.

    Beautiful! I love open air builds. What kind of wood is in the case and how do you select it?

      It is an oak veneer plywood. I used plywood because natural wood, unless handled correctly can quickly warp and or shrink. This could cause a lot of problems with trying to get thinks properly aligned.

      Plywood is very stable in that way.

      I would probably do a different stain, dark wood.

      I tried a gray satin on the V1. I’ll see if I can find a picture.
