If I recall correctly, the problem with that mission was that if you got TOO close to the train, the shooter couldn’t hit anything, so the problem was the players did the mission TOO well. heh.
One of the easiest ways to do it is not following the train at all, but riding a bit ahead where there’s a building next to the track you can get on top of, wait for the train to catch up, jump on it, and then just shoot the three guys normally.
