The Republican Party has a neo-Nazi problem.
This is not slander or pejorative or innuendo; it is the plain truth of the matter, a conclusion drawn from simple observation. And the problem has been getting worse.

Holy shit, kudos to this guy for not doing the brain-dead and completely lazy nonsense of blaming all this horribleness on old people (or “boomers”).
People need to wake the fuck up and stop engaging in ageism and thinking “young people will save us”. First clue is that is the exact same shit boomers would tell each other when they were adolescents - they invented the “don’t trust anyone over 30” horseshit.
Because it’s not like the young are somehow magically inoculated against horribly stupid ideas. I’d say on things like vaccines, they may be arguably worse (measurably so) than boomers. And when it comes to understanding just where fascist ideas lead, they may be in the very worst position to resist this sort of thinking…
I’m going to provide a potential explanation to this, but first I want to say this: I don’t doubt there are a number of influencers/personalities that lead to a Nazi view. It’s definitely more common. But…
No reasonable 18-30 year old would align themselves with the GOP. So they gravitate towards a place of power where they are accepted—with others that have fascist tendencies.
