It might be a worry that the ongoing RAM crisis would impact Valve’s plans for a device so sensitive to component costs like the Steam Deck 2. Thankfully, Valve says its plans haven’t changed.

    The only real solutions are not launching or passing along the costs. They could always drop the price if memory gets cheaper (or make more money).

    Valve knows the bubble will burst and data centers will sell components for a fraction of the overinflated cost just to recoup money.
