Could you explain this? Are certain instances associated with certain kind of people? I thought lemmy.ml was a very generic instance. What do people generally associate the main biggest instances with?
It’s a genuine question, I haven’t been on lemmy very long.
From what I read in comments, lemmy.ml is often associated with reality-detached far-left/socialism/fascist-socialism. People often call people from there “tankies”.
Personally, I don’t like how it’s often voiced prejudice instead of taking the comment at hand. Still, subjectively, I also saw several instances of far fetched and non-sensical stuff from lemmy.ml and maybe another instance as well, moreso than from other instance’s accounts.
