They said that if if you’re able to hear what the other person is saying then fair game as they can’t reasonably expect privacy, but if they go into a room or car then you can’t use sensitive equipment to record them. Essentially use a mic with the sensitivity of a standard human ear
True in a single party consent state, but its a felony to record conversations of others without their knowledge in a two (or all) party consent state.
