I think you’re making some assumptions on my behalf. I said a firewall, not windows firewall.

What do you think even runs the firewall?

Not at router, a firewall, and with rules of course. You’re not making any real claims, but I assure you win10 behind a decent firewall setup is probably safer than 11 will ever be.

I get the performance, but no really it’s fine. Mint isn’t the solution you all think it is. Having windows 10 isn’t a death sentence, some things you can’t really do on Linux if you need to make money.

Do they think if it’s an AI raising prices, and not them - that it will make a difference?

Just gonna keep using 10 and pass everything through a pfsense router. Strictly speaking it’s the cheaper and safer option.

So what happens when all the NAND chips fail to turn a profit with all these Datacenters they’re going into.

These changes, awful as they seem, are effecting me less and less as I use the platform less and less. It’s like, “oh you’re getting worse? Carry on then”, then I go back to my Plex server.

Real question is how does this affect MDT? Will it still pull that information, will vendors supply it?
Unless it’s capable of using GPU for actual CAD and not just rendering, I may stick to FreeCad.
No dude i don’t and never will. It’s just more shit, and shit to feel nostalgic about.
So all the equipment on the old rack style is aging out rapidly due to obsolescence. These are in Datacenters that aren’t even built or making much profit yet. Now the Datacenters with the new rack style are increasing in cost along with the servers, and the chips themselves. Also some of these aren’t even built yet, let along paid for. So combine this with a dead internet because people who sell ads probably don’t realize how much engagement isn’t real anymore, and what do you have? Idk, but it doesn’t look good
