That’s how they get ya. The early game is “oh cute little dupes just need some food and wash their hands!” then by the end you’re calculating heat transfer through various materials to build the ideal geothermal power plant.

Simple?! I love this game and have hundreds of hours in it. It does start simple, but complexity ramps up mid game, fast. It’s a crude physics simulation and it will absolutely end your run.

Still playing to this day. Looooove it and the modding community

I think NMS is excellent, and not for me. I love logistics and puzzles. NMS is mostly exploration and combat. Their attempts at logistics and crafting are paltry, despite showing huge promise. Oh well. Maybe some day.
